ONE HOUR.LESS WTF.

For when your copy, offer or message is doing your head in—and you need someone to help you make it make sense.

One hour, $250, with prep before and clear next steps after.

Cass Whitaker
FROM WTF TO WHAT’S NEXT.

You can be bloody brilliant at what you do and still be absolutely useless at explaining it clearly. Seriously, even copywriters struggle with this sometimes. It’s what happens when you’re too close to the problem. When you know too much.

YOU CAN’T READ IT FROM THE INSIDE.

Ries & Trout said positioning is a two-man job. You need someone inside the business—and someone outside of it. Someone who understands what you’re trying to say, but isn’t so deep in it that they can’t see the whole picture. That’s what this hour is for.

I’ll help you see the things you’re too close to see.

IT’S NOT ALWAYSABOUT THE COPY.

Sometimes the message isn’t landing. Sometimes the brief is missing a ton of useful context. Sometimes the offer makes sense in your head, but not on the page. And SOMETIMES you just need someone to look at the whole thing and go: “Umm, but have you thought about it like this?”

  • Positioning & messagingWhat you want to be known for, who you’re actually talking to, what they need to understand, and how to make your point crystal clear.
  • Copy brief or copy reviewFor copy that needs a second pair of eyes, or for when you have no idea where to start. We’ll work out what needs to be said, and how.
  • Offer & launch strategyWhat you’re selling, how you’re packaging it, what buyers need to believe—and what you need to do in order to get it live.

THREE EASYSTEPS.

  1. 01

    Book the chat

Pick a time, pay to lock it in, and tell me what kind of WTF we’re dealing with: positioning, messaging, copy, offer, launch, or some demotivating combo of the lot.

  2. 02

    Send me the deets

Before we meet, you’ll fill out a short questionnaire and send through anything useful: drafts, briefs, notes, voice memos, rough plans or any other deets you think are important. That way I can get across everything beforehand.

  3. 03

    Know what to do next

On the call, we’ll pull the problem apart and work out what needs to happen next. You’ll leave with clear direction, notes to refer back to, and if something pops up afterwards, you can send a follow-up question or two if there’s still a few things on your mind.

ONE CALL.SORTED.

You’re not paying for a coffee chat or a “pick my brain” session. You’re paying for a focused hour on whatever’s currently bogging you down—with enough prep beforehand to make the hour useful, and enough direction afterwards that you’re not left trying to decode your own notes.

$250One hour, one to one.

  • A pre-call questionnaire so I can get across the problem
  • Sixty minutes focused on whatever’s stuck
  • Clear notes and next steps to refer back to
  • A follow up question or two if there’s still things on your mind

Price in USD and excludes relevant tax.

DEAR CASS,

Insert derivative of overused “don’t just take my word for it” phrase. (What? That was super meta and clever, wasn’t it?)

Good advice

Always prioritise clarity over being clever in your messaging. I appreciate your advice Cass Whitaker.

10/10 would work with me again

I've had the pleasure of both managing and being managed by Cass across two roles, and in both cases she was details-oriented, focused, and reliable. Her guidance and advice was always thoughtful and constructive, and this bore out in the quality of the work juniors trained by her produced. Small wonder that under her leadership the team expanded significantly in both size and responsibilities. A fantastic manager and one I would gladly work for again.

Christopher Best
Marketing powerhouse

I was fortunate enough to work with Cass during the early stages of my career. Her patience, empathy and encouragement as a mentor are incredible. She's an incredibly inspiring leader, a powerful storyteller and a marketing powerhouse.

187k followers. Thinks I'm superwoman.

2 months ago I worked with Cass Whitaker in my LinkedIn Reputation Bootcamp. I'm convinced she's superwoman. In the 90 days since the Bootcamp started, she's had posts with 24k impressions and hundreds of engagements. Just awesome. Oh and the reason she's superwoman? She's being a mum to her young daughter ALL at the same time as growing her writing business. Honoured to work with people like Cass.

My claim to fame

I’ve been in this industry a long time, and I’m totally impressed with Cass Whitaker. Her copy is infused with a unique, entertaining, and 'sassy' personality that makes it impossible not to read. She’s also a whip-smart marketer. I love her website and copy so much, I signed up for her emails. They’re always good for a laugh… and a great lesson!

40k followers & calling it a masterclass

Love this! It's a masterclass in how branding really works. The shift from chasing clicks to building memory is subtle but powerful and made me think about how I think about my content too. It’s not about going viral; it’s about being recalled at the right moment. One impression at a time.

THE ADVICECOLUMN.

What can we work on in the hour?

Positioning, messaging, copy, your offer, launch plan, sales page, homepage, email, brief, rough notes, messy idea, or whatever else is making your brain do the loading-wheel thing. If it affects what you’re trying to say or sell, it’s probably fair game.

Do I need to have copy written already?

Nope. You can come with a draft, a rough outline, a voice memo, a half-baked offer, a sad little brief, or absolutely no idea where to start. We’ll work out what needs to be said, and how.

Is this for people who write their own copy?

Yep. If you’re writing it yourself, this gives you a sharp second brain on the message, structure, angle and bits that aren’t landing. You’ll leave knowing what to fix instead of poking at the same sentence for three business days.

Is this for people who want DFY copy?

Also yep. Sometimes this is the step before DFY—especially if your brief is too vague, the offer isn’t clear yet, or I need to understand what’s actually going on before I can quote properly.

Will you rewrite my copy on the call?

Probably not line by line on the call lol. The point of the call is to fix the thinking underneath the copy: the message, angle, structure, offer, audience, clarity and next move. I might suggest lines or examples as we go, but it really depends on what’s needed.

What do I need to send before the call?

You’ll fill out a short questionnaire after booking. You can also send whatever helps me understand the problem: drafts, links, briefs, notes, voice memos, sales pages, offer details, launch plans, or anything else that adds context.

What happens after the call?

You’ll get clear notes and next steps to refer back to. And if you still have a few questions after, you can send it through. I’ll let you know if you start taking the piss and need to book another session though lol.

Can I book more than once?

Yes. Book one when something specific needs untangling. If you need another later, book another later. Easy.

WE DOINGTHIS?

Grab a time, pay to lock it in, and get crackin’ on the questionnaire. We’ll get it sorted.
